10 Ways To Love Yourself

In this busy world, when we’re running around after everyone else it’s easy to forget about yourself. Then we’re forced to focus on ourselves because we’re so run down, we don’t know where to start. Especially right now in lock down we must take time out to recharge our batteries and build our self worth. So here are some self-loving tips to get you started.


1. Don’t be a people pleaser, if you’re pleasing everyone else there is a good chance you’re not doing the right thing for you.


2. Trust your gut instincts, If it doesn’t feel right DON’T DO IT.


3. Stay away from all the drama and negativity, it’s bound to have an effect on your day.


4. Be conscious everyday about giving out love, as the more you give it, the more it WILL start to come back at you.


5. Never speak badly about yourself/think about yourself, it’s worth remembering that every cell in your body will be listening.


6. Always be your authentic self, don’t change for anybody. Learn to love who you are and you’ll attract the right people.


7. Don’t just be good to others, be good to yourself. You deserve just as much love and attention as to what you’re giving out.


8. The awesomeness you hold within you is not devalued by other people’s opinions, it doesn’t matter what they think. Remember that!


9. Try looking in the mirror every morning and saying some feel good affirmations, it’s a good way to start your day & help to sink that positivity into your subconscious.


10. Do something every day that’s just for you. A little bit of me time will recharge our batteries and go a long way.


You don’t have to incorporate them all at once, just pick 2/3 to get you started & you’ll notice not only will it have an impact on how you feel, it will have a positive impact on your whole day. Just remember that self love is about you nurturing yourself in many different ways. It's about doing whats right for you & realising that YOU MATTER.
